Summary of changes since Demo Day 36

  • 2 new boss fights: Neptune King Tyrrazza and the Gilt-Scaled Seraph
  • 1 new map: dm_aggydaggy
  • 3 new weapons: Vine Sower, Puffballer, Killer Beat
  • 2 new music tracks
  • Added Lobby system. 
    • Click 'Multiplayer' to enter the Lobby screen to create and search for servers to connect to.
    • You can still connect directly to an ip if you prefer
  • Added option to enable Universal Plug and Play for hosting servers (Settings -> Misc)
  • Added music notification pop-ins to indicate track names
  • Added option to hide hud (Settings -> Display)
  • Added artifact icons
  • Lots of balance changes/tweaks/reworks and bug fixes
  • Added drag camera move for spectator mode

  • Assault Bits: Drones now spawn passively and can attack immediately after being summoned
  • Battering Ram: Max charge time decreased (0.5s -> 0.4s)
  • Flounderbuss: Projectiles now pierce 1 target
  • Reticle Strike: Reticle explosions no longer damage user. Reticle explosion delay decreased (0.65s -> 0.5s)
  • Riftsplitter: Projectile base damage increased (25 -> 30), Shockwave damage increased (15 -> 17)

Balance changes since dd36

  • Amita Cannon: Knockback reduced by 20%. Base damage increased (7.5 -> 8.5)
  • Assault Bits: Reload time decreased (1.25s -> 1.1s), Drone turn speed increased by +50%
  • Boiler: Projectile Speed increased by 12%
  • Cola Cannon: Reload time is now always equal to duration of the spray. Ammo capacity increased (13 -> 17)
  • Deep Sea Smelter: Projectile speed increased by ~12%
  • Flounderbuss: Max number of projectiles increased (12 -> 15) 
  •  Hexenhowizter: Base damage increased (22 -> 27). Recoil decreased by 25%., 
  •  Iron Ball Launcher: Projectile Speed increased by 20%. Recoil increased by 20% 
  •  Kamabokannon: Reload time decreased (1.8s -> 1.3s) 
  •  Laser Rifle: Attack Cooldown lowered (0.5s -> 0.4s), Reload time decreased (1.4s -> 1.25s)
  •  Maelstrom: Projectile speed increased by 11% 
  • Morning Star: No longer interacts with springs. Swing Force increased by +50%
  •  Nematocydearm: Base damage decreased (35 -> 33). Projectile lifespan decreased (8s -> 7s) , Reload time increased (0.75s -> 0.9s)
  • Pearl Revolver: Base damage increased (30 -> 33)
  •  Sniper Rifle: Headshot bonus damage increased (+150% -> +175%)
  • Speargun (Weapon Drops Mode): Base damage increased (25 -> 30)
  • Underminer: drill duration (1s -> 1.2s)
  • Autoreloader: Attack speed buff decreased (+40% -> +30%)
  • Fish Gang: Cooldown increased (25s -> 28s)
  •  Marine Snowglobe: Cooldown decreased (10s -> 8s) 
  •  Meridian Maker: Base damage increased (40 -> 45) Cooldown decreased (9s -> 8s)
  •  Samson Option: Explosion interval decreased (1.5s -> 1.2s)

Bug Fixes since dd36

  • Fixed a client crash upon returning to results screen with spectators present
  • Fixed eggplant count not being visible for clients in results state
  • The rotation of certain objects (floating bosses, wave beam projectiles) is no longer tied to framerate
  • Kineater no longer removes the bonus hp bosses get from multiple players being present
  • Fixed dialog box appearing after every level transition
  • Fixed player team alignment not being reset (causing game to run out of available teams)
  • Fixed client message window not processing incoming messages in results state
  • Fixed positional volume increasing suddenly on death
  • Airblast now resets the lifespan of reflected hitboxes
  • Fixed handling of malformed save files
  • Fixed a client memory leak that would occur when attempting to create the same entity multiple times
  • Fixed error logging not working
  • Fix to bug with allocating audio buffers
  • Fixed spectator directional audio not working
  • fixed particle offset being incorrect for certain events
