Summary of Changes since Demo Day 40
New Stuff
- Added bots
- Select bot number in mode menu when selecting map
- For now, bots are available in Deathmatch, Gun Game and Matryoshka modes
- Bots are only available on a restricted set of maps (tagged with "bot compliant")
- Includes: aggydaggy, bottleneck, brouhaha, facility, flotsam, lagan, threshold, towers, warp, wetworks, ziggurat
- New Mode: Matryoshka Mode.
- Players have 8 lives.
- Upon dying, players respawn immediately in the location that they died.
- Players start off larger and get smaller each time they die.
- Added Modifier; Giant players
- Added player color options; Banana, Celadon, Eggplant, Violet,
- Maps resized to account for larger players
- Added results screen transition
- Added particles forewarning respawning players
- Improved random name generator
- Added Respawn Timer setting option

Fug Bixes
- Fixed a crash that would occur upon joining mid-game as a spectator
- Fixed a crash during False Sun boss fight
- Fixed camera misalignment issue during single-player campaign
- Fixed a rare crash caused by the Underminer weapon
- Objective markers are now visible in spectator mode
- Fixed a bug that would cause kills during results screen transition to not count towards determining winner
- Fixed a rare crash caused by emoting
- Fixed a crash upon gun game mode ending
- Tweaked client prediction for smoother movement
- Fixed client aim tracking relative to server position
- Fixed client handling of sync packets out of order
- fixed a bug causing client prediction putting clients through walls
- fixed a bug causing springs to mess up client prediction
- fixed client prediction failing to account for team spawn walls

- Settings menu now auto saves settings
Muh Balance
- Assault Bits: Bits now hover offset from user in direction of mouse. Bit float speed increased by ~50%
- Boomerang: Projectile lifespan decreased (2.5s -> 2.0s). Base damage increased (30 -> 35)
- Bouncing Blade: Attack cooldown increased (0.35s -> 0.7s), Projectile lifespan decreased (3.0a -> 1.5s) Projectile speed increased by ~20%, Base damage increased (32 -> 39)
- Cola Cannon: Weapon now charges when moving mouse without fire button held and fires when fire button is pressed (instead of released). Charge time rescaled.
- Deep Sea Smelter: Recoil reduced by ~33%
- Fisticuffs: Projectile speed increased ~20%
- Flounderbuss: Fires more projectiles at low charge
- Hexenhowitzer: Projectile speed increased by ~15%
- Kamabokannon: Attack cooldown increased (0.06s -> 0.1s), Base damage increased (21 -> 23), Projectile lifespan decreased (2.0s -> 1.0s)
- Killer Beat: Ammo capacity increased (180 -> 240), Attack cooldown decreased (0.27s -> 0.18s) -
- Love Bow: Min damage increased (25 -> 35), Max damage increased (60 -> 69), Arrow ally heal increased (15 -> 15 at min charge, 35 at max charge)
- Party Popper: Frags are now more colorful
- Peppergrinder: Base damage increased (15 -> 19), Projectile lifespan decreased (4.0s -> 2.0s)
- Puffballer: Spore number decreased (10 -> 7), Attack cooldown increased (0.2s -> 0.8s)
- Screecher: Range increased by ~20% - Sniper Rifle: Reload time increased (1.3s -> 1.4s)
- X-Bomber: Projectile speed increased by ~20%
- Anarchist's Cookbook: Bomb spawn cooldown increased (1s -> 3s)
Minor Stuff
- Deathmatch is now playable in single-player mode on bot-compliant maps
- Dissolve screen transition is now based on a random seed
- Reduced chat wheel cooldown
- Some slight tweaks to scoreboard ui to prevent long names from taking multiple lines
- Added notification for players running out of lives in modes with limited lives
- ui window/hp bar movement no longer varies with framerate
- Changing settings now automatically applies updated settings
- Changed settings now saves automatically
- Players must have a name set before playing
